About AI Hguds
AI Hguds is an independent poetry studio founded by a small team of writers and developers who believe the craft of poetry belongs to everyone — not just to those who memorised the canon at university.
The studio is led by its founding editor, who has spent fifteen years reading, teaching and writing about poetry — and who remains convinced that a good line is worth more than a good algorithm.
We built this site around a simple conviction: the best way to read a poem is slowly, and the best way to learn to write one is to steal from the greats with your eyes open. Every poem in our library is annotated with the context of its form, its era, and the argument it makes. Every guide on this site was written by people who actually read the poems they discuss, line by line.
Our AI poem generator is not here to replace the poet. It is here to break the blank page — to give you a first line, a form, a constraint — so that the hard part of writing (the part where you decide what you mean) stays exactly where it belongs: with you.
